THE POI: AN ART

Inherited from New Zealand for several 700 years, the practice of Poi1 is as much an art as it is a sport. Universally recognized for its many benefits, it has been scientifically proven that the practice improves one’s psychomotor functions.

Club Fy2 created the Fy Challenge to modernize the practice. The Fy Challenge is aimed to teach 88 movements that can be mastered at a very young age. From children to adults, the growing interest for the discipline moves us to transmit the art extremely early in life.

1: Poi means « ball » in the Maori language of New Zealand. Pronounce « poy ».

2: Fy means « fire » in the Thai language.
